I am using window 10 and run vmware play V12 on it. From last year in work perfect but i have some problem with windows so I format the hard disk and reinstall windows. Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Thanks for your idea but it's not solve my problem. As I already mentioned I've just format the hard disk and re-install windows. So the software on my laptop now is only office and vmware player.

Cancel Submit. Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Method 1: I would suggest you to Run maintenance task and check if it helps. Follow the below steps: Press Windows key on the keyboard. Type Troubleshooting. Select Troubleshooting. Click on Run maintenance task under System and Security. In the search, type Disk Defragmenter , and then, in the list of results, click Disk Defragmenter. Under Current status , select the disk you want to defragment.
To determine if the disk needs to be defragmented or not, click Analyze disk. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Once Windows is finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the Last Run column.
